The Bluegrass Cycling Club and West 6th have agreed to co-sponsor Pedaling for a Purpose again for 2021.  The charities we will be riding for include the Fayette and Clark County NICA teams (youth mountain biking teams that are just getting started in Central Kentucky) and Bluegrass AMBUCS - an organization that provides specially adapted bikes for kids who need them.

Education Session 8:00 am - 8:45 am

Our Speakers will be Club Members Randy Thomas and Sharon Brown, both of whom serve on the board of Bike Walk Kentucky (BWK), a recently formed statewide nonprofit organization focused on advocacy, education, health & safety, tourism & economic development. This session will provide an introduction to the organization, it's mission, and focus areas. This session will also highlight several current projects including the Share the Road campaign, Bike Walk Kentucky Ride Spot, and the Kentucky Cycling Challenge.  Please plan to join us to learn more about the exciting projects BWK is working on!
