The Bluegrass Cycling Club and West 6th have agreed to co-sponsor Pedaling for a Purpose again for 2021.  The charities we will be riding for include the Fayette and Clark County NICA teams (youth mountain biking teams that are just getting started in Central Kentucky) and Bluegrass AMBUCS - an organization that provides specially adapted bikes for kids who need them.

Education Session 8:00 am - 8:45 am

The education session will feature our local NICA teams - join us to learn more about this exciting program and it's introduction in Kentucky - A Kentucky league is being developed that will help get kids on bikes and Pedaling for a Purpose is supporting two of our local teams!!!

Group Rides Begin at 9 am

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR GROUP RIDES - THE LEGACY TRAIL IS CLOSED BETWEEN NANDINO BOULEVARD AND CITATION BOULEVARD BECAUSE OF THE AMAZON FACILITY CONSTRUCTION WITH NO DETOUR. THEREFORE, OUR NOVICE, C AND B/C GROUP RIDES WILL BEGIN AT 9:15 AM AT THE MCGRATHIANA TRAIL PARKING LOT  ALONG THE LEGACY TRAIL RATHER THAN FROM WEST 6TH - TO GET TO THE TRAILHEAD, TAKE NEWTOWN PIKE TO ARISTEDES (WHERE THE EMBASSY SUITES ARE) AND MAKE A LEFT, YOU CAN GO EITHER WAY ON MCGRATHIANA (IT'S A CIRCLE) AND THE PARKING LOT IS HALF WAY AROUND ALONG THE LEGACY TRAIL

Rides offered - We will have group rides with leaders, but you will also have the option to come, sign in, and do something on your own ... Doesn't matter, miles will still count!!! If you plan to ride on your own, you can come and sign in anytime between 9:00 - 11:00 AM... Just time it so you're done by noonish.

We will offer group rides at the following paces/distances:
