The Bluegrass Cycling Club and West 6th have agreed to co-sponsor Pedaling for a Purpose again for 2021.  The charities we will be riding for include the Fayette and Clark County NICA teams (youth mountain biking teams that are just getting started in Central Kentucky) and Bluegrass AMBUCS - an organization that provides specially adapted bikes for kids who need them.

Education Session 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Our speaker will be James from Broomwagon Bikes.  James' topic will be "E-bikes: what to look for, what to avoid, and why they're the fastest growing segment in the industry."

Following James, we will have a short special presentation "Aerobic Activity and a Healthy Heart"
presented by members of APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists from UK.

We will have a jersey fit kit at West 6th Before and after the rides for those who earned a jersey or those who would like to buy one to try on. We have a new vendor this year and the sizes are running a bit smaller so it is a good idea for those of you interested in a jersey to take advantage of this opportunity!
