Details:
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic this Sunday Interdiction HYBRID Ride has
been created to allow Bluegrass Cycling Club members an opportunity to ride
with other members of their choosing and at a time that is convenient for
them and be covered by the BCC's insurance as you normally would during a
BCC Group Ride.

WHAT IS A HYBRID RIDE
This NonSuch from Fall Springs - Hybrid  Ride is an All Comers Ride meaning that no ride
leaders will be provided and riders can choose to ride any of the posted
routes (see below). Riders can ride any of the posted routes anytime on Sunday.

  • You should inform me of the completion of your ride within
24 hours. I will then complete a ride sheet sheet with your name and
mileage and submit it to the BCC's statistician.

    RIDING WITH OTHERS
While riding by yourself is allowed the BCC is strongly
recommending/encouraging you to ride with at least one other person or a
group of up to 10 (no more than 10 please). RIDERS SHALL NOT COME TO A BCC
APPROVED RIDE IF THEY DO NOT FEEL GOOD, HAVE BEEN RUNNING A TEMPERATURE, OR
HAVE AN ACTIVE CASE OF COVID-19 (this includes Hybrid Rides). Riders are
expected to following social distancing guidelines (currently 6 feet).
Masks are now, by Governor's Executive Order, required when outside and
within 6 feet of someone not from your household. Masks are not required
while you ride as long as proper social distancing is taking place.

    RECOMMENDED RIDER ACTIONS
    * Emergency contact information should be carried with you (this should be
    normal)
    * Have an emergency backup that can come and get you if needed
    * Have water, food, etc. for the ride or a store stop scheduled
    * Spare tubes, tools, etc.
    * TAKE PHOTOS and share on the BCC's Facebook page
    * Based on current guidelines including USA Cycling recommends riding side
by side and/or if behind a person 10 feet or more
    SUPPORT
Since this a HYBRID RIDE each rider is expected to make contingencies for
mechanical breakdowns on their own or within the group they are riding. The
Hybrid ride leader is not responsible for support.

    ACCIDENTS
If there is an accident and you need either medical assistance or need to
report to law enforcement please dial 911 for emergency assistance. As soon
as possible you will need to notify the ride leader David Moore
859-338-6314 so he can complete the accident report for insurance.

    QUESTIONS
If you have any questions or prefer another route please contact David Moore 859-338-6314
