Frank Newman Park, Flemingsburg Old Reservoir Trail parking area, McVey Way, Flemingsburg, KY 41041 ( Enter off W. Water St/KY 11). Put McVey Way in your GPS, entering the park In GPS will put you in an entrance that does not connect to the parking you want. Park at the top of the hill.

Overall Difficulty:
Moderately Strenuous. C rating reflects my speed. There will be hills. Most of the hills begin from level road, not much chance to use inertia.
Details:
Mostly new territory for those who"ve ridden with me. We start out heading east, and will have views of Pea Ridge, what passes for a mountain here. Then north to Mt Gilead where we turn west. This area has a lot of resident Amish. 18 miles in at Maysville Road (KY 11, riding a wide shoulder) north to BP for a rest stop. ( At this point it is possible to cut out 5 1/2 miles and 438 feet of climbing by going straight back on KY 11) We turn around and after a couple hundred yards head west again. At the end of that road southeast to return. More hills.
