Join us for an awesome Labor Day ride through the moderately rolling hills just east of Lexington. Following the ride, cool off with a refreshing dip in the pool while a BCC grill master grills hamburgers and hotdogs to serve with salads and chips for lunch. Soft drinks and water will be provided. Bring a bag chair or lawn chair!
Club members are also welcome to invite your spouse/significant other and children/grandchildren to join us for lunch after the ride. What a great opportunity to meet extended members of the Bluegrass Cycling Club family! Please be sure to include them in your registration.
Bring on those desserts for the second annual bake-off. Winners in several categories will be awarded gift cards or prizes.
Don’t miss out on the chance to see everyone before the summer ends! Lunch will happen rain or shine so please plan to come regardless of the weather. Sign up by Friday, August 30, so we can get an accurate head count for the food.
Changing room is available so bring your swimsuit, or jump right into the pool in your cycling gear before changing for lunch. Whatever you choose to wear in the pool, just enjoy the opportunity to cool off after a hot ride!
Special note: If there are any interested dog lovers, there will be a brief demonstration of toy-retrieval from the pool by the Four Labradors of the Apocalypse!
