Join the Bluegrass Cycling Club and Central Kentucky bicycling community as we ride the 2017 Bluegrass Ride of Silence in memory of cyclists injured or killed while riding their bicycle.
We will start gathering at Thoroughbred Park a 6:30pm. At 6:50 we will have a short memorial. And 7:00 we will begin the ride. The ride will be just slightly over 10 miles. We will ride a 10-12 pace in Silence in honor of the injured and fallen riders everywhere. The route will take us through downtown Lexington, UK Campus, and some of the local neighborhoods.
The Lexington Herald Leader says bicyclists driving to the Ride of Silence can use their FRONT parking lot. Do not use the parking lot in the rear of the building.

Children 18 and under can ride with a waiver signed by a parent.
Children 16 years of age and under must ride with a parent. They also must be to complete the 10 mile route.
