Restroom facilities are available nearby but not at the start location.
There isn't a planned store stop, but there are stores near the start and in Slade at approximately mile 26.. 

This is a road ride, but there is a 0.6 mile section of Barker Branch Road on a ridge top that is not paved. It is partly gravel, but mostly bumpy, hard-packed clay/dirt. Ride leader will be on a gravel bike.

Park at the entrance loop to Rockbridge Road on route 715 in the Gorge. The route follows 715 to Zachariah and follows the ridge west to Barker Branch Road before descending back to the Red River valley. We return to Slade and ride Subway Hill back to Pine Ridge and Rock Bridge. Ride leader plans a low B pace. 

Directions to start
Follow Bert T Combs Mountain Pkwy E to KY-15 N/KY-715 N in Pine Ridge. Take 
exit 40. Turn right onto 15/715 and at Pine Ridge, turn right onto 715. Cross over the Mountain Parkway and look for Rockbridge Road on your right.
