The charities we will be riding for include our four local NICA teams (youth mountain biking teams) located in Fayette County, Clark County, Madison County, and Woodford/Franklin Counties, Bluegrass AMBUCS - an organization that provides specially adapted bikes for kids who need them, and Broke Spoke, our local community bike shop.

Education Session - 9:00-9:45 am -
Every year we invite the organizations that benefit from the miles we ride to speak to us about their organization and to let us know how else we might help them. This week Luke from Broke Spoke will join us and the good folks at AMBUCS will be presenting a new bike to a very excited young man.
NOTE: EDUCATION SESSIONS HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE AND IF YOU ATTEND THE EDUCATION SESSION AND THE RIDE IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER YOU'LL RECEIVE 2 POINTS TOWARD YOUR JERSEY OR TEE SHIRT!

  • To provide incentives for people to ride their bikes
  • To introduce cycling to new populations

The Bike Part:

Rides start 1 hour after the education sessions begin and will feature various distances, experience levels, and paces.  There will also be an option for people to come, sign in, and do an urban ride or ride on their own.
