Thanks for being a BCC Ride Leader!  We know you could use your free time doing other things and truly appreciate that you've decided to devote your time and attention to helping the BCC.

The first step to becoming a ride leader for the BCC is to review the Rides and Ride Leader Guidelines and associated appendices. After you've done that, you can complete the ride leader certification form using the link below.

If you are an experienced ride leader, you'll hear from a member of the Rides Committee confirming your certification, and you'll be added to the list of leaders who can post rides to the ride calendar as a primary ride leader. Your name and contact information will  also be added to the ride leader contact list.

 

If you are a new ride leader, you'll need to identify an experienced ride leader as a mentor on your ride leader certification form.  You will work with the experienced ride leader over the course of several rides.  When your mentor believes you are ready to lead your own rides he/she will contact the Rides Committee Chair and your name will be added to the primary ride leader list.
