Labor Day Picnic

It is time once again for the Labor Day Ride and Picnic!!!! The BCC Annual Labor Day Picnic will be on Monday Sept. 6th at Adena Park off of Mt. Horeb Pike. Ride start time will be 9:00 am. 3 ride options to choose from:

C-pace ride is 13 miles
B-pace ride is 22 miles
A-pace ride is 31 miles

There will also be a Velo Swap - so be sure to bring any merchandise you would like to trade or sell. We will have BCC Socks, caps & other merchandise for sale.

Please bring a dish to share. The BCC will provide burgers, and a veggie option. Hope to see you there!

BCC Philanthropy Funding

Bluegrass Cycling Club Philanthropy/Education Committee Currently Accepting Applications for the Second Round of 2010 Funding.

The Bluegrass Cycling Club offers philanthropic support to programs, projects, and events sponsored or offered by nonprofit organizations and entities that support and promote health and wellness or that are specifically bicycle-related.

Funding requests are considered two times each calendar year. Submission deadlines are May 15th for funding that will be available on or after July 1, and October 15th, for funding that will be available on or after December 1. The Philanthropy/Education Committee is currently accepting applications for the October 15th funding cycle.

NOTE: The October 15th funding cycle will cover events/projects scheduled to occur between December 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. Any organization or entity desiring support from the Bluegrass Cycling Club for an event or project during this period should apply on or before the October 15th Deadline for timely consideration of the request!
