Distance: What a beautiful ride this will be!!! Any of the three (10 / 18/
30 mile) options that you choose can't be wrong. Roads are nice and smooth with lots of beautiful scenery. Any route you choose will have some climb, just know that a majority of the climbing comes during short punchy hills that will get your heart rate up but you can relax on the long 'flatter'
roads.

This is a nice ride for most cyclist if you have been on the bike for more than a month. The route has a few rollers and short punchy hills that will get your attention and quite possibly out of your saddle.
This is an 'All Comers' ride so everyone is invited to ride but you are responsible for your own repairs and getting back. However, with all club rides that we do here, each individual group will be regrouping at the top of the hills and intersections. Just be sure to find the appropriate group to ride with.

In the spirit of the Horsey Hundred Weekend, we thought that we could ride around Country Boy Brewing to warm-up the legs for the weekend. This is an 'ALL COMERS' ride but I plan on doing an easy A pace on the 18 mile route. Patrick Wesolosky will also be assisting in leading at a slower pace on the same course. For those that want to go longer, Gene Fowler will be doing a longer route of 30miles. I hope to have other Ride Leaders and club members join us making sure the ride goes smoothly.
This ride is designed for our out of town guests staying in the Georgetown/ Lexington area a chance to get themselves checked in, do a short ride and meet the locals while enjoying a beverage at Country Boy Brewing. Country Boy Brewing is one of our Bluegrass Bike Partners that has always supported the Club in everything that we have asked. This is something new this year and hope we can expand on it in years to come.
Food trucks will also be at Country Boy to help replenish the few calories that you may have burned on this easy ride.
The excitement is getting INTENSE around here in the Bluegrass so whether it rains or shine, we hope to see everyone at Country Boy to ride some beautiful roads and if it rains, well, we have more time to meet new friends from all over. Can't wait to see you!!!
