 From Lexington: I-64 East to the Mountain Parkway. East on the Mountain Parkway to exit 75 to KY 7 toward US 460/W Salyersville (2 miles). Turn right onto KY 7/Royalton Road (6 miles). Trailhead is located on the left behind the Royalton United Baptist Church.

Easy to moderate, typical Rail Trail grade climbs and descents.

 

Details:

Grab your comfortable gravel-capable bike and enjoy early spring scenery on the Dawkins Line. Gravel/CX/MTB/hybrids are typically ridden on the trail.

 

Store stop at Hager Hill. (Corn dogs recommended). Bring a light for the tunnel. Option to ride the new unfinished section of Trail at the end to get 50 miles for the day.
